Best Places to Teach English Abroad?

Following up on this article -- http://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-blogs/best-places-to-teach-esl-overseas/ --

I think it'd be cool to teach somewhere where students are really engaged in the learning process. In this respect, are some of these locations/cultures better choices than others?  If it's not location/culture-specific, then are there certain teaching placements -- e.g., colleges vs. public schools, etc. -- that might offer this kind of experience more than others?

For what it's worth, I'm a native English speaker with a Bachelor's degree (in Psychology), but I'm not ESL certified.

The time I spent teaching English in Asia was life changing. In Thailand and Taiwan, I learned that I could make friends and start a life in a strange place, as well as adapt and thrive in a different culture. It gave me a confidence that nothing else before it had.

All the places in that article really meet your qualifications. What age group are you looking to teach?
