    Who World Malaria Day

I'm posting this here since there is no travel health section, hope it is okay?

It is world malaria day today, and in my professional capacity as a qualified nurse I am trying to spread the word about this potentially fatal disease as much as possible, just to try and do my bit.

Many people don't Brian, it's not something you should be paranoid about but it is definitely an important consideration in your preparation. The more knowlege you have, the safer you'll be. :) And I hope you found the travel clinic useful!

As for the Malaria day, I know it is only one day but it is important to keep spreading the word and informing people about it (and dengue too for that matter!)

Very Informative article Bemused. Risk of diseases were not something I had considered when I think of traveling. I think its a great thing your doing. Hopefully there will be a travel health section established so that you will be able to help people more directly on the subject.

Oh and I just used your travel clinic!
